Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is maintained by the Forest Department, Govt of Kerala. The Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is approximately 44 kilometres away from Pollachi and is found in Kerala’s Palakkad district, which lies near the southern end of the Western Ghats. Not only is the refuge rich in vegetation and wildlife, but it has also preserved various native tribes who live within the boundaries of this enormous reserve. The area can be reached by car in around two hours and ten minutes from Pollachi.
These tribes contribute to the history of the area, which balances the natural features that are found there next to each other.
The village of Pollachi serves as the starting point for a road trip to the wildlife reserve. There are two buses that run each day between the tiger reserve and Pollachi. The Pollachi and Palakkad junction train station is the one that’s the most convenient.
